Gently exfoliate a few days prior to your visit to remove any dead skin cells.
Avoid consuming any caffeine and alcohol before your wax.
If you’re worried about discomfort, take an Advil 30 – 40 minutes before your visit.
Take a deep breath — you’re in good hands!
AFTER YOUR WAXLeave it be! Don’t use any scented lotions or body wash for 24 hours post wax.

Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, saunas or hot tubs for 48 hours.

After 48 hours, we recommend exfoliating 2-3 times per week to avoid ingrown hairs.

Avoid working out for 24 hours to reduce sweating and irritation of the area.

Don’t shave between appointments — consistency is key! For best results, allow 4-6 weeks between wax appointments.

For any part of the body, the hair should be 1/4 inch long or the length of a grain of rice. Typically, two weeks post-shave. If the hair is longer, just leave it, there is no need to trim - we can take care of that for you!

Generally, every 4-6 weeks with some exceptions - certain facial or underarm waxing can be done every 2-4 weeks.

We use a combination of both hard and soft waxes. Hard wax doesn't adhere to the skin making it the best choice for sensitive areas like the face, underarms or intimate areas!

For best results, gentle exfoliation leading up to your wax helps to open the pores and soften the skin. We suggest wearing loose clothing and cotton undergarments afterward and avoiding UV exposure, heat and scented products for 24 hours.

Yes! Why shouldn’t you have perfect brows AND healthy glowing skin?
In most cases, we will wax and shape brows prior to the facial treatment and apply the tint afterwards to avoid compromising the colour.
In some cases, or with our Refining Facial, we prefer to wait 48 hours between any facial waxing appointments to avoid any sensitivity. In these cases, we can still tint and clean up the brows by tweezing and trimming.
All facial treatments are are performed with Diego Dalla Palma, specializing in targeted treatments for every skin concern. Dermatologically tested to be safe for all skins, even the most sensitive.

No, we ask that you are free of Accutane use for 6 months before waxing. Accutane causes sensitivity making the skin much more fragile and waxing could cause lifting or damage to the skin.

Absolutely! You may find yourself more sensitive during this time but we’ll make modifications to ensure you’re comfortable and hair free!

A general rule is to wait 24-48 hours to avoid any irritation.

Absolutely! Waxing over a tattoo is totally okay, just ensure that the tattoo is completely healed. Waxing not only removes the hair from the root but gently exfoliates the top layer of skin which results in a smoother more radiant complexion, making that tattoo pop!
